Welcome to our German courses for refugees!

You had to flee your country and now want to study in Germany? Language skills are an important prerequisite for this.

The FHWS Campus for Language Proficiency offers in 2022 free language courses for refugees who want to start studying in Germany or continue their studies in Germany.

OFFERS for refugees who want to study in Germany:

  • with German language skills at the level of B1 have the opportunity to take a B2 German course and/or the B2 German language exam  in August/September 2022 prior to their studies. Level B2 is a study requirement for many degree programms at the FHWS.
  • without German language skills can start a German program beginning with the level of A1 in May 2022.

The language levels are based on the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). Read more about the CEFR.
